A simple AppleScript by Roger Howard to batch repackage MPEG-4 files (.mp4) as Quicktime movies (.mov) without reencoding. This is in response to a query on the Quicktime-Talk mailing list.
Usage: select one or more .mp4 files, drop them on the script's icon, and go!
Requirements: must have Quicktime installed with the Quicktime Pro license enabled. MPEG-4 files must be readable by Quicktime. No error handling is provided, and no warrantees implied!
Click to load MP4toMOV in Script Editor. After the new script appears, do a Save As and select the Application format.
