In November of 2004 I went to Phoenix to attend a conference hosted by one of our software vendors, held at a golf resort. It was rainy weather, but the first day I got outside to shoot some panos around the site and I ran into the course manager. A friendly guy and without much to do in that weather I suppose, he offered to drive me around the course and give me something to shoot. So we zipped through the golf course as fast as his cart could go; then he dropped me off on the far side of the course, out in the desert, and let me wander around for an hour shooting. It was definitely the highlight of the conference.
