On the trail up to Angel's Landing we stopped several times for a break... in this panorama you can see all of us (including a few twice): Roger, Barry, Chris and Julien.

Halfway up to Angel's Landing are a series of switchbacks, each with a better view than the last, overlooking the Virgin River Valley and the more accessible parts of Zion National Park.

On the hike up to Angel's Landing we came across a small stand of trees with several molting owls sitting calmly for everyone passing to see.

On the way up to Angel's Landing is Scout's Lookout, with an incredible view of the canyons of Zion National Park.

Before entering the Narrows we took a nice lunch break in a beautiful canyon - I had a peanut butter sandwich, the rest had mac n' cheese.
